Like Mother Like Daughter

It is so obvious that Camryn watches her mommy very closely.  She loves make up, lotion and cooking.  Lately when ever she has a moment alone Camryn tries to increase her talents in those areas.  The first instance I found her covered in anti-bacterial hand lotion from head to toe.  She decided to find my purse and get busy.  Not only was she totally covered but also my entire wallet and everything inside.

While I was out at a store Camryn had decided to make some italian soup.  Dallas had just used the bathroom and typical of my four year old son he did not flush.  I will just say there was a nice surprise left for all to see.  Camryn of course thought it would be a perfect opportunity to perfect her cooking techniques.  She added some cheese and pepperoni to the mix along with a lot of toilet paper and cups.  Wes was the lucky one who got to clean it up.

Now finally to the makeup.  I was grocery shopping when Camryn decided she need to beautify.  She found two different kids of face cream and used a make up brush to apply all of the creme liberally all over her and a pillow.  There wasn't any left in the little glass jars.  Later that same day Wes went down stairs and asked what was all over her face.  She had something all around her lips.  I saw a few lip liners in her hand.  Wes said, "at least she knows where it goes."

I am starting to learn she can't be trusted or left alone for a second.  She is fast and quiet.

Partners in Crime

On a Sunday evening I was talking with my mother in law and I hear a muffled cry for help.  It sounded like Dallas was locked in the garage or the pantry.  I ran in to the kitchen to help him but he was nowhere to be found.  I started to panic because I could still hear him.  I looked at Camryn and asked where he was, she laughed and pointed in to the laundry room.  I could see Dallas looking through the dryer window like a sad puppy.  His naughty little sister had locked him in the dryer.  I don't think he will ever climb in there again.  I never realize the danger that exists until the kids show me what they are capable of.  I was glad I was actually down stairs to hear him and that Camryn did not turn the dryer on.

Wes and Camryn were walking down the stairs the other day and Wes said something and introduced the word "MO FO".   Camryn immediately followed with another "MO FO"  She is definitely developing a sophisticated vocabulary.
